Ben Marcin Ben was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1958. He has been a resident of Baltimore for thirty years. Ben travels around the world to capture the abstract/urban scenes and landscapes that capture the rich knowledge of form, color and pattern that are evident in all of his photographs. These elements occur in ordinary locations: a bus stop in Ecuador; a staircase in Portugal; the back wall of a shopping center in Los Angeles. None of these photographs are set up or altered; they appear exactly as he finds them in his travels. He uses a large format camera. · Home |
